When I worked with people that were Amway members I kept asking the question, “Why would I join and buy all my toiletries for astronomical prices from Amway when I can just run across the street and purchase what I need much cheaper?” The products that I saw were not made of a better quality that would entice me to buy those products from Amway. I was only 19 back then and it just didn’t make sense to me. Those people involved eventually drifted away from the Amway cult without becoming extremely wealthy.
