We all know what we should do to maintain a healthy balance and plenty of energy but we just don’t do it.

They are simple and basic necessities of life but for many of us, they are hard to achieve in the right quantities.
According to recent studies 73% of Americans are chronically dehydrated.
Dehydration causes fatigue, dry mouth, and dizziness among many other things.
When I worked full time I was one of the 73% dehydrated Americans. Even though I often talked about the need to drink more water and made concerted efforts to do so, I often failed. I carried around water bottles, set reminders on my phone, and changed to using smaller bottles to try to trick my mind into drinking more. I still ended up thirsty with white, dry and cracked lips from being too ‘busy’ to drink the amount of water my body needed. I did suffer from feeling light-headed and feeling tired during this period. Now that I am no longer working full time I am able to devote more attention to my body and give it the nourishment it needs.
Jim Kwik, a leading expert in speed-reading, memory improvement, and optimal brain performance makes drinking a glass of water on an empty stomach a part of his morning routine. The brain needs water.

I just forget.
I am too stressed.
Can’t turn my brain off at night
My schedule is all over the place.
I just have so much to do.
We create many excuses as to why we can’t give our bodies the basic nutrients it craves. If you are tired of running on empty then throw out the excuses and commit to giving your body what it needs.
