Sometimes anger feels good when you’re caught up in the moment. We actually enjoy it, especially if we feel a compulsion to prove how right we are. After the “fight” and the teeth stop grinding, the fist unclenches, and the heat that encompassed the body start to dissolve, a wave of clarity washes over us. This is when we start to question what the heck just happened. Why did I fly off the handle? Don’t sweat the small stuff, it’s not that deep. Now it’s time to meditate and Zen out, to work on controlling that crazy emotion. Ah, the joy of anger.
