On one hand we preach about love and forgiveness and on the other hand we want to permanently bury those that make a mistake. I’ve never understood calling for people that “go viral” for behaving badly to lose their livelihoods. It’s the same with convicts. Do we want these people to become a functioning member of society or not? If we do then we need to give ’em a break.
