Many newbies do not understand that the more successful writers on Medium were writing on Medium and building an audience before the MPP program was even offered. Also, those that started a little late are producing an enormous amount of content. It takes time to build a following. It takes time to build up a quality body of work. I’m always amazed when people start writing on Medium and expect big returns in such a short amount of time. That’s not how it works.
