It feels like cancel culture is turning everyone into monsters. If you don’t pretend to go along with the popular opinion you are vilified. It is forcing people to bury their true thoughts and that is more dangerous. You won’t know who you’re really dealing with because everyone will be fake. Sure, a few ill have the courage to speak up but most won’t.
