I disagree. If you give poor service then you do not deserve a tip. Whether a person tips or not you are still getting paid for the service you provided.

If a waiter/waitress gives bad service then they will receive a bad tip. If your car is messy, you are rude, and drive like a maniac then you will receive a bad or no tip.

I like to tip because good customer service should be rewarded. I do not agree that a customer should tip even if the service is bad just because Uber/Lyft don’t pay enough.

I think the drivers should come together to encourage Uber/Lyft to pay them more or at least reimburse some of the expenses such as gas.
