I believe people only have unconditional love for the things and people (children) they create and for the creator (God) and people who have created them (parents). Unconditional love does not work in any other scenario. Make a mistake, you’re divorced. Make your best friend of 20 years angry, you won’t hear from them for the rest of your life.
